ΑΡΧΑΙΟΣ - ΠΟΡΟΣ

Στην αρχή η ύλη όλων των πραγμάτων ήταν ταραγμένη και αποίητη. Έπειτα στον Χώρο γεννήθηκε η Θέτις που τακτοποιούσε τα πάντα. Στη συνέχεια έγινε ένας Πόρος και όταν παρήλθε αυτός ο πόρος ακολούθησε ένα όριο, το Τέκμωρ. Και ο Πόρος είναι σαν αρχή, ενώ το Τέκμωρ σαν τέλος. Όταν γεννήθηκε η Θέτις, αυτά έγιναν η αρχή και το τέλος των πάντων και το σύνολο των πραγμάτων έχει φύση παρόμοια με το υλικό του χαλκού, ενώ η Θέτις με εκείνη του τεχνίτη, και ο Πόρος και το Τέκμωρ παρόμοια με εκείνη της αρχής και του τέλους. ARCHAIOS – POROS

Because when the matter began to settle, a kind of Pore was created, something like a beginning. So Alkman says the matter of all things was troubled and untrue. Then, Thetis was born in Space, arranging everything. Then Poros was made, a passage, and when this Pore passed, a limit followed, the Tekmor. And the Poros is like a beginning, while the Tekmor is like an end. When Thetis was born, these became the beginning and the end of everything, and all things are of a nature similar to copper, while Thetis with that of the craftsman, and the Poros and Tekmor similar to that of the beginning and the end.
